Nokia Morph is the ultimate phone of the future. I actually see it as one of those super high-tech alien-like technologies (the one which only exists in movies) but this concept is slowly realized, and someday it will be available in the market.
Morph demonstrates some of the capabilities of nanotechnology. It can sense it environment, harvest its own energy, clean itself and a lot more. Morph can adjust it’s shape according to the user’s needs, it can open to be like a laptop and it’s buttons are embossed depending on the function of the phone.
As I see it, if phones can be built this way, it wouldn’t be long before cars from the Jetson’s would become real. Cars that transform into briefcases when unused would now be seen in reality. That would be cool! Parking spaces could be utilized for much more useful things.
It’s amazing how technology develops so quickly. Nanotechnology has a lot of other uses, but I guess that’s another story.
i noticed that the Morph concept takes a lot from the technologies that are already present in nature (self-cleaning, etc.)
