Today and Yesterday

Aargh.. I’m really sleepy. My job’s boring me a bit. It’s kind of difficult but it’s really boring. I’m really sleepy… I need something to eat.. or to chew.

 I really had a bad day yesterday. People in Manila are so distrustful and almost all cab drivers are bull crap. I was supposed to meet my cousin at Jollibee but I drained the battery of my cell phone before I could text that I was already at Jollibee waiting for her. So I asked the guard if I could text someone using his phone (I know that it’s really embarrassing, but I really had to ask or else I could not get home because I didn’t know the way to their house), and the guard actually thought that I would steal his phone. For one, I know that I don’t look like someone who’d steal a phone, and I actually pleaded, almost begged him to type and send the message himself. I also said that I would pay him 50 bucks just for him to send one message. But no, he really thought that I was just putting up a gimmick.

 I really can’t do anything else, because if I would ask someone else maybe they would think the same thing. I was really desperate… But I had no choice but to wait for my cousin to come pick me up. Good thing she arrived even If I already waited for more than an hour.

 Well, i guess the moral of this story is to always charge my phone before leaving the house.
