Garbage Collector

We attempted cleaning our apartment today. We had shellane delivered just this afternoon. Mr. Shellane guy, upon entering our house asked if we’ve just moved in recently. A lot of stuff he saw were inside boxes and the apartment looked really messy. I took a look at our apartment with a different perspective, and yeah, it did look like we’ve just moved in. Hahaha.. but the truth is that we’ve been living in this apartment for more than a year now. With that comment in mind and upon sharing it with my housemates, we were inspired to clean our apartment! haha.. While cleaning our apartment, we had a lot of stuff collected, most of them useless things that we know we would not use. Every time my housemates would want to throw something out, i would hesitate and want to keep what they would throw out. Making excuses… For example, if my housemate would find old handouts, i would tell them that we could use it for a paper drive, with bottles? a bottle drive of course! hehe.. There’s this laptop bag that one of our pseudo-housemates left here, we actually had it for a very long time. We even had it in our old apartment and it was suppose to be thrown out then, but i insisted in keeping it. Until now, I’m still insisting in keeping it. It’s a really nice laptop bag. It’s just dirty. haha..  Then this realization came to me! i’m a garbage collector! i keep things i know i wouldn’t use. I would always think that i would use it someday… but i never do. haha.. i don’t know if it’s a good quality or not.. hehe..

The garbage collector in me also emanates on my clothes… I had my clothes laundered today. It’s the first time i had my clothes laundered since summer. I had 2 hampers, 2 garbage bags (new garbage bags of course), and a really big plastic bag full of my clothes! I think it’s about 40 kilos of clothes.. I realized my mom was right! i have too much clothes and most of them i do not wear. The laundry woman was shocked when she came to pick up my clothes because of the whole mass of it. She had 2 people come with her because we already told her that we had a lot of clothes we wanted her to wash and 3 people we’re not even enough to carry all my clothes and my housmates clothes (which were only 2 small plastic bags). I had a lot of clothes washed and most of them i do not even wear. I do not want to dispose them because i would think that it’s "sayang". Which really is true… But i’m really collecting too much garbage! LOL.

Busy Weekend

Tomorrow, we’re going to have our sem-starter. Sem-starter for organizations are parties to kick-off the start of the semester. Tomorrow, we’re going to have it at Pook ni Mariang Makiling. It has an olympic size swimming pool and the entrance costs only 60 bucks. Cheap right? hehe.. We’re going to prepare grilled fish, eggplant salad, and pansit. hehe.. We also invited the new freshman in the unversity… We want to show them some of the nice places here in eLBi.

After tomorrow, we’ll have a rummage to raise funds for our orientation. We will be needing money because we’ll be treating all the orientees free dinner and hopefully, the members of the organization will not have to shell out much money.

Hopefully, starting on monday, I would be able to start training again for our concert in Street Jazz. I really want to dance in our concert. Even if i’ll be given just one or two productions numbers. hehe..

Boring

How I wish that I have a good book to read right now. I’m basically not doing anything. Well, i should be doing a lot of things… but as always, i choose not to do them.. 

Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coehlo and Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber are two of the books that i really want to read. I already found copies of both books. I’m just waiting for my friend to finish reading Sybil and i’ll borrow it after she’s done with it. The book Eleven Minutes i found a copy from one of my friends too.. But i don’t know if i’ll be able to borrow it soon because he’s very busy right now. Argh… 

Lost my Red Flash Disk

I printed some notes in our internet lab at school… and because of my absent mindedness, i forgot to get my flash disk… I am a computer science student and most students taking courses like mine, consider our flash disk as an integral part of our being. I had that flash disk for about 3 years now… It looks really ugly, but i don’t care… I miss my flash disk.. and not to mention, all the files stored in my flash disk. which includes some of the codes from my OJT which i would use for my SP. huhuhu… 

I left it their last friday and i went back there with the hopes that just like the last time that i left it, it would still be there. But i was wrong… When i went back, there two other flash disks that were left… But none of them were mine… The keys to my apartment were also attached to my flash disk… huhu… so sad…. 

If you’re the one who took my red flash disk, 1GB, no cap, with two keys attached… Please return it to me..  

Peace of Mind

I’m thinking…. (Yes, don’t be shocked, apparently i have the capacity to do that) I still have a lot of things to do… I still haven’t been able to register because i encountered a lot of problems with my form 26. Uhm.. I actually only encountered one problem.. And because of my laziness, there might be a chance that I won’t be able to enroll on my LTS 1 class (which i really need to take now because i’ll be graduating soon… *crossing my fingers*). First, i lost the slip thing that is needed for me to be able to get a form 26 (because my LTS class is only a petition class). Luckily, i found it (without actually even trying to find it, i just saw it on the corner of my eye), so today i was able to get my form 26 but it still doesn’t have the signatures needed for me to be able to pass it and have my form 5 re-assessed. Tomorrow is the last day of registration… I’m hoping that i will be able to register on time. Or else, i won’t be going to school this sem! hahaha.. sad right?

I actually don’t know if i have any assignments needed to be passed for tomorrow. Hopefully, there won’t be any.. 

I’m still not in the mood to go to school again.. Oh well… It’s very tiring. hahaha.. but it’s much better than working. So i guess i should be thankful that the money in my wallet is given to me.. and i still don’t have to earn money for myself. 

Back to School

I feel that this semester is such a critical semester in my college life. Critical in terms of academics and in my organizations. I don’t why.. but I always get this anxious feeling about this semester.  Oh well papel.

Tomorrow our school is going to have our annual "almusalan" for the freshmen. It is an activity where organizations are going to quote-welcome-unquote the freshmen. Well, it is actually more of a scout for new recruits more than anything else. Organizations are going to serve breakfast to the new freshmen in campus. Some rich organizations are going to serve meals from Jollibee (yes, I’m from UP, so serving Jollibee for breakfast is already considered a luxury most organizations can’t afford), most are going to serve the usual pandesal and coffee.. Some are going to serve sopas.. Our organization is going to serve taho! yes, taho for breakfast. hehe.. It is actually a kind-of lazy alternative. Lazy because we won’t be preparing anything. Just our flyers that we are going to hand out to the freshmen.

Oh well… I’m really sleepy and I have to wake up at about 5:30 in the morning because the almusalan will start at 6am. Gosh. It’s really early.   I guess i’ll just finish all the songs on my playlist and i’m off to sleep. Nytee.

First Kiss

While i was inside the car and we were on our way back to the house (my family just had dinner outside the house), i just remembered Drew Barrymore’s line in the movie 50 First Dates "nothing beats the first kiss"… Well, it just kept repeating inside my head. I really don’t know why…

The first time i heard this line, it got me thinking… Yeah.. It’s really true. Nothing really beats the first kiss. Nothing beats it’s excitement and thrill. Nothing beats the feeling that the person you want to kiss is kissing you back.  It’s like taking e for the first time (i’ve actually haven’t taken e or any drug in that sense, i just hear people say that it feels so much better the first time). Nothing beats the gratification that it gives you… Especially if you’ve been wanting to kiss someone for so long and you finally had the chance to do it….  Unless… that person is a really bad kisser.  That totally ruins everything.

Well, i’ve been doing some photography for more than a month now. Well, it’s an unending learning experience. I have just started and i really haven’t had lots of opportunities to shoot. Outing this Summer

Well, i actually haven’t been on an outing this summer. Yes… I know…. It sucks big time. Haay.. I haven’t been able to go to the beach or places like eden or just even tagaytay. This whole summer, I was just stuck in the city.. In Manila for most of the summer, and here in davao for two weeks. I thought by the time i’ll get back here, I could’ve gone to the beach at least once… But no.. It never happened. I don’t have anyone to go with me. Everyone’s busy.. Since school has already started, i’m stuck at home. 

One big reason why i wanted to go the beach is that i would love to take pictures(having a good looking "model" with me would be so much better. hehehe). I would really want to have a good picture of the sunset.. Or sunrise.. But i guess taking a picture of the sunset would be much more possible because i really have a hard time waking up early. haha.. 

Oh well.. I guess my beach "photoshoot" would just have to wait. Maybe until the next time I’d get to visit davao. huhu… Sad… Cry.. Sniff.. Tears.  

Kung Fu Panda!

I just watched Kung Fu Panda. LOL! haha.. it was really funny! It’s so much fun to watch. I actually think that i was laughing too hard inside the cinema. Actually, pole or paul, or whatever, the panda guy was the only not cute panda in the cartoons ever! haha.. but his personality was really cute, which made him really really cute! hehe.. the movie’s just short it’s about an hour and 45 minutes, but i tell you! the movie is really worth it. It’s like watching finding nemo, a movie you would want to watch over and over and over again. hehehe..

I would really love to buy the Kung Fu Panda toys at Mcdonald’s. Argh.. Maybe i’ll buy one tomorrow. hehehe.. They’re all so cute.. hehe..

The song at the credits was sung by our very own Sam Concepion. I personally don’t like his singing voice. He sounds like a 5 year old and the way he pronounced "kung-fu" was way too conyo. You know what i mean.
